My Bailiwick

Engineering Strategy. Marketing Vision. Leadership That Bridges Both.

I'm an Electronics & Communications Engineer with an Ivy League MBA in Marketing — a rare hybrid of technical depth and commercial acumen.

With 25+ years steering global corporations (Philips, Accenture) to growth and profitability, and now as CEO of a NYC-based management consulting firm, I help businesses scale profitably through:

  • AI-Driven Transformation
  • Supply Chain Optimization
  • Growth-Focused Integrations

I thrive where data meets decisiveness, turning complex challenges into streamlined strategies.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, doing chess puzzles, and teaching management and self-improvement seminars.

My Bookshelf

You cannot judge a book by its cover but you most certainly can judge a person by the books in his or her collection.

My library of books is home to Black Box Thinking (Matthew Syed), How Not to Be Wrong - Power of Mathematical Thinking (Jordan Ellenberg), Did You Just Do that? (Paul Dawson & Bruce Sheldon) and I'm OK, You're OK(Thomas Harris) — revealing a soul drawn to human behavior, failure's lessons, and the beauty of logic. I am fascinated by Karl Popper's logical reasoning and enunciation of paradoxes in our political and social systems. Of course, Mary Roach can always be relied upon to enlighten and entertain me with her books Fuzz and Grunt. Games People Play is another of my favorite books and, understandably, I enjoy delving into advanced concepts in game theory. Last, but not least, if you need practical guidance on adapting to change, overcoming fear, and embracing uncertainty you cannot go wrong if you picked up Who Moved My Cheese (Spencer Johnson).

My Soundtrack

Music has undeniable anchoring effect that has been successfully exploited by the advertising and marketing industry. When I listen to music, I certainly experience moments in the past (good and bad) that are deeply anchored in memory and tethered to the music playing. My collection of music includes a playlist spanning Dire Straits' grit, Jethro Tull's whimsy, and Dua Lipa's beats — because brilliance isn't confined to one genre. Can a copy be better than the original? Of course. Sound of Silence by Disturbed sure sounds more enjoyable and rich than the original by Simon and Garfunkel. If I desire a change of pace or mood, I can reliably turn to Ed Sheeran or Post Malone or Imagine Dragons. If I am in mood for Classical Crossover genre of music, who better to listen to than inimitable Sarah Brightman with her lyrical Soprano voice spanning over 3 Octaves?

If I need to chill, what better way to do so than to listen to classical music while sipping quality California Cabernet Sauvignon or Famiglia Anselma Barolo from Italy?
